Description
Enough is not enough. Too much is just right.
Because many Christians have been taught religious sayings in place of God’s Word, there exists a belief that God will meet our basic needs but we shouldn’t expect Him to go beyond that and provide anything unnecessary or excessive. We find in the Bible however, that “excessive” is an accurate description of both God’s ability to provide and His desire to do so for us. He wants to bring such outrageous provision to us that our nets break with fullness, our ship sinks under the weight of the harvest, and our cup runs over and splashes blessing everywhere. God is not enough; He’s too much!
