Jesus told us in John 16:33 that we would have trouble in this world, but He added, “Be of good cheer – I have overcome the world.” Many lose heart when the faith-fight gets tough. They don’t realize that their response to a circumstance affects the outcome of the situation more than the circumstance affects the outcome. See yourself as more than a conqueror, not just someone who wins the fight, but one who lives above while the battle rages on below.
